hey, i just installed freebsd, and i would like to know how to configure the network manually.

my setup is as follows: a lan with a few pc's on it, and all access a router for internet use. for dns i have to specify ip addresses aswell on the other machines.

what i need to know is how to give the machine an ip address? also give it the correct dns ip addresses, and information about how to get the machine to know to access the router.

deep explanations or even references are welcomed.
