oracle_libs in makefile.



oracle_libs in makefile.



hi,
in makefile i have an entry oracle_libs=-lclntsh.
can anyone explain the meaning of this .

i want to knowwhat is -lclntsh.

more specifically

libclntsh.so or libclntsh.a

typically this would be preceeded with

-l$(oracle_home)/lib

or similar to say look for libraries here.

a wild guess would tell me this is a client library for oracle.
